After my first class, I knew yoga would be a big part of my life. Experiencing a deep connection of my own body, mind and spirit, I found myself back at the studio the following day. It was what began to change off of my mat, through yoga practice, that I am most grateful for. I felt my heart open and my fear begin to dissolve. Yoga began to transform my life - a process that continues to this day. My physical yoga practice has definitely changed in the past few years, through pregnancy and motherhood. I find yoga (union) in rare moments of silence and stillness, or being present, aware, and loving when I’m with my kids.

I have been blessed to have so many inspirational people in my life. Every time I learn something new, I am reminded how endless the path of yoga truly is. I will always be a student first. My hope, through teaching, is to share the gifts of awareness, strength, compassion, and freedom that yoga has given me.

“The meaning of our self is not to be found in its separateness from God and others, but in the ceaseless realization of Yoga, of union.” – Rabindranath Tagore
